Wishes 4 Kids

I have been proudly supplying Wishes 4 Kids with fingerprint jewellery since 2015. A sterling silver fingerprint pendant is given to both parents as a treasured keepsake from their son or daughter. The charity Wishes 4 Kids has been created to grant a wish for children and youngsters in Leicestershire who are life limited, terminally ill, have experienced life-changing physical or emotional traumas, have suffered major abuse or are diagnosed as HIV Positive. The Charity grants wishes for those of eighteen years and below. As this is such a sensitive time for the families, the fingerprints are often taken by the nurses on the children's ward. The finger prints are taken using our special putty and then dispatched to me to create the jewellery in my Leicestershire workshop. In 2016 I undertook a firewalk in aid of Wishes 4 Kids, raising over £500. On the left I'm pictured holding my certificate and displaying my slightly toasted feet.
