Seaweed Wrap Ring – Size O

Description

On a visit to the Harbour Arm the day after Storm Kieran in October 2023, I picked up a strand of seaweed that had been launched up onto the walkway with the power of the stormy sea. I was amazed by the beauty of its natural organic texture and took a putty mould of it. From that, I created a silver cast and worked on a few simple designs to make it wearable. This is the Thong weed variety.

Each strip is approximately 5mm wide, 10mm maximum width.

Handcrafted at the inSilver studio using Eco/recycled silver.
